Green Beans and Squash

Stephanie got Ave a kiwi box for her birthday which basically is like a science experiment/ craft in a box.  It had beans and squash seeds that you can grow by a window.  I wasn't sure if Avery would really get into it but she loved every minute of it.  

Just planted the seeds.  Not long after this picture was taken, the plants had to be moved much higher on the window :). 

One week later and we have little plants!  I was amazed how well they grew!  I'm not sure what face Ave is making in this picture.  She may have been in the middle of saying cheese.

2 weeks later- the kit included these pots that you can decorate and put the plants in.  She LOVES watering and tending to her "garden". 

This was such a hit that it makes me want to try some new things that I thought she was a little too young to do.  Thanks Steph for the entertainment!

Showering Reagan

A couple of weekends ago, a few of us threw Lindsay and Reagan a baby shower.  We could not be more excited to have a girl coming into the mix.  I'm sure Avery will love having a girl to play with all of her girly toys.  The boys' daddies get a little nervous when they play with Avery's toy jewelry box and princess hair tools :).
