NYE!

We decided to try something different this NYE.  We took the kids bowling and then went to Kyle and Ash's house for dessert.  I didn't really know how bowling would go with 9 children but it worked out great.  They had a blast and it was something the we don't normally do.

We had just as much fun eating, doing fireworks, and games at the Talkington's.

Ash had prepared some games that were a total hit.  The oreo game was my favorite.  It is hilarious watching people try to get it from their forehead to their mouth.

I think Emmalie was the only successful one!

There was one game that we never played.  Bill, of course, had to try it out right before we left.  I don't even know what the goal of having a tennis ball at the end of panty hose fastened to your head is.  It was funny though!

2016 is sure to bring some exciting changes for our family.  We are so looking forward to meeting Colin and adjusting to our new family of 5!

Christmas!

We started this Christmas off with the Christmas Eve service at Faithbridge.  We captured some pictures in front of the girls' beloved colored trees in the hallway.

After church, we went to Gloria and Wendy's for dinner and presents.

Bill's grandma won the yard contest.  The girts loved checking it all out.

Chloe's favorite dog, Bo, was there too!

Ever since Avery got her ears pierced, Chloe has wanted to get some earrings too.  Her dream came true!

The girls put some cookies out for Santa before going to bed.

Christmas morning was lots of fun this year.  I knew that Avery would love opening gifts but it is really fun having Chloe get excited now too!

Colin even got a makeover

After naptime, we went to Don and Monica's house.  My parents weren't able to come because my mom's back was hurting too much.  The rest of the gang was there and somehow, this year might have been my favorite time over there.  The girls played so well. We were able to talk with the adults a lot more.  It was just a fun time.  Unfortunately, I took only one picture.  Oh well!

As always, I loved this Christmas season.  I love all of our family time and sweet moments.  It was a little different because we weren't able to really celebrate with my parents like usual but I'm sure my mom will be back in action next year!

Random pictures

Here are a few random pictures from this Fall...

Bill discovered a bee hive between some of our fence posts.  He decided to take care of it himself and even put together this lovely outfit to protect himself-

Donuts with Dads

Grandpa performing "surgery" on Sophia and Avery while visiting my mom.

Chloe's latest favorite activity.  This girl...

Bill broke his arm and wrist while working on our first rental house a little before Christmas.  It was a total bummer for him but at least he didn't break anything else.  It could have been so much worse!

Avery made a "pain pillow" to make Bill feel better.  Sweet girl.
