As always, the weeks leading up to Christmas are some of my favorite of the year. There are Christmas decorations everywhere and lots of fun activities to do. We tried to fit as much in this year as possible.
My mom had back surgery at Methodist Hospital in the Medical Center. There was a huge gingerbread house in the lobby. I took both girls on separate occasions to visit her (and the house)!
One Thursday evening, we took the girls to Santa's Wonderland in College Station. Avery was Chloe's age when we last went so it was fun taking both girls this time!
Avery had a Flat Gingerbread assignment for school. She had to take pictures with her gingerbread every fun place she went over the holidays. She got lots of good shots that night!
Fake snow- So fun!
Billy's Grandma asked us to come to a Cookies with Santa breakfast one Saturday. We thought it was going to just be some cookies with a Santa photo op but they ended up calling each child up one by one to get a gift from Santa. The girls had a blast!
Avery had a Christmas service project for Girl Scouts at a local retirement home,
a fun class party,
and we made gingerbread houses too!
Chloe ate the majority of her toppings.
Chloe's finished project (with my help)
Avery's finished project
We celebrated Bill's birthday
And had a fun Christmas playdate at Garrett and Reagan's house.
It was a busy month but one filled with lots of fun and memories!
