I love some good before and after pics. We decided against having a media room put in when we were building our house. We figured that when we were ready we would finish out the space ourselves. Since we hardly ever make it to the movie theater, we decided now would be a good time to finish the room. Here's what the space looked like before...

I'll be honest, I was a little resistant to the idea of a media room at first but I now love it! We are able to rent movies when they come out and still have some of the movie theater feel. I see many fun family movie nights in our future!
