Sweet Summertime!

This summer was a fun one.  Chloe was old enough to enjoy more, and Avery seemed to soak up everything that we did.

Here are a few of the highlights-

Bahama Bucks opened near us so we tried it out.  It was definitely loved by all!

Lots of outdoor time-

Quite possibly my favorite picture from the whole summer and totally unprompted.

VBS- I was Avery's crew leader, and it was a special week seeing her grow in her faith.

-Lots of down time as well

-On one particular stormy day, Avery was scared so we decided to make good memories during a storm.  We had a tea party (with hot chocolate) and read library books.

-Tara and Ellie came into town

-We went to splashpads

-Chloe got her first minor sunburn

-Avery went to Bring your Child to Work Day at Bill's office

-Avery went to a cheer camp

-Some trips to the library...

...and Chic fil a

-Fossil digs

-We moved Avery into her new room

-Some nights out with friends

-Avery's first pedicure to celebrate the start of Kindergarten

A few more random pictures-

Summer was a blast and truly bittersweet.  I knew that this summer marked the end of my time without school age children.  We are on to a new chapter in our life!
