Avery was so excited this year because her birthday fell on Bring your Child to Work Day. She LOVES going every year, and she thought it was awesome to be there on her birthday. Plus she got her very own fidget spinner so what could be better?!?

Her birthday party was all set for Pump it Up on Friday night but unfortunately she started vomiting about 4 hours before the party began. Poor girl. She was so very disappointed. However, some sweet friends brought over her gifts so she was able to be entertained while she was stuck in her room.
We rescheduled for right before the 4th of July which meant that most of her school friends couldn't attend. All of our closest friends and family were there, though, and everyone had a great time.
The Talkingtons gave Avery her own personalized stationary kit with return address labels and stamps so that she could write her friends in Houston. So thoughtful, and she was thrilled!
While her 7th birthday didn't go quite as we all had planned, it still turned out to be lots of fun and definitely one that we will remember!
