Dr. Appointment

On Tuesday I had one of my regular appointments with my OB. We found out a few new things-

1. I am still measuring way behind when they measure the fundal height (with the tape measure on my abdomen).
2. We found out her weight at the time of the ultrasound. She was weighing in at 4 pounds 12 ounces from their measurements.
3. We must have misheard the ultrasound specialist when she told us her percentile for weight. We had heard 12% (only 2 percentage points away from a growth restricted baby). She is actually around 23% which is still pretty small but not near as close. This made us feel much better. We are just going to have a little one on our hands!
4. They did some other tests during the ultrasound that she scored perfectly on.
5. I have already started dilating. She may be coming sooner than later!

After we found out the news about the dilation, everything started feeling a lot more real. We started thinking of all the last minute things that needed to be done. We now have got the car seat base in the car, a bag packed for the most part, and all the newborn necessities washed!

I wasn't feeling so hot Tuesday night. I even made a 2 am phone call to Ash to ask some questions! It turned out to be nothing but got me thinking about how soon her arrival could come. Although I can't wait to see Avery, I want her to cook a little longer to get some more meat on her bones! Hopefully she will hold off a few more weeks until school is over and she weighs a little more. We will see!

Here is the latest ultrasound picture.
