After going to the Pumpkin Patch, we were in the mood to carve a pumpkin! It was the first time we carved one with Avery, so we were interested to see her reaction.

We decided to carve the pumpkin inside because the mosquitoes had been horrible that weekend. Avery had lots of bites already so we didn't want her to get anymore. The added bonus was that we could have one of my fav holiday shows playing in the background, It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown!

| Right after this occurred, she proceeded to gag! She hated the smell of the pumpkin. I can understand walking away but gagging?!? Can you say drama queen? |

After she got the whiff of pumpkin, she played elsewhere while we carved. After we were finished, she returned to play with the top. She loved putting the top on and off.

I just love this time of year! I keep finding myself saying this but maybe next year she will like it more. Oh well, Bill and I had fun!
