I've been feeling like Avery is getting so independent and grown-up lately. There are times when I really feel like I'm talking to another adult when we have conversations. Of course, there are also the times when I am jolted back to reality that she is still 3 like when she has a temper tantrum about her outfit for the day! I just love listening to the things that come out of her mouth. I can't help but laugh sometimes and I've started to write down some of the sweet or silly things that she says. This is my collection from the last several months-
When Chloe smiled at her- "That's a big smile for a big sister!"
"You're rupposed to do..."- I know one day I need to correct her but I love to hear it said wrong :)
When I told Avery that Stephanie was at the hospital giving birth to Savannah- "Two cousins for one girl! How lucky!!!"
"Have you never seen a...?"
"Daddy, can you give me some privacy please?"- when going to the bathroom
Me (after seeing mud on Grace's paws)- "Ugh, Grace. You kill me."
Avery- "Ugh, you kill me too, Grace!"
Me- "How pumped are you about snow day?"
Ave- "I'm 10 pumped!"
"Mommy, do ballerinas get more ballerina powers when they wake up from their naps?"
It's so much fun to see her mind work and to hear her express herself. I have just loved watching her grow from a baby to the sweet little girl that she is today.
Here are a few recent pics (mostly from my I phone so not the best quality) of my oldest girl-
Ave's princess face- "Princesses don't smile with their teeth."
Helping Daddy in the kitchen
One of her favorite activities
So proud.
She is obsessed with "checking us out."
Frozen movie date with my girl. She was finally getting over her cold from Christmas here.
She left a little surprise for her dad to find when he got ready the next morning.
Playing at Aunt Steph's house.
Beauty time for Gracie!
