Chloe's first trip to the dentist

Over the Christmas holidays, I started noticing a dark spot on one of Chloe's molars.  It didn't seem to bother her but I made her first dental appointment to check it out.

I never know what I'm going to get with Chloe when it comes to doctor visits.  Sometimes she's great and other times well... she's not.  They did such a great job making her feel comfortable and explaining everything.  She did awesome!

The good news was that the appointment went so well.  The bad news was that they wanted to fill the area in her tooth.  They said that it wasn't yet a real cavity but it would become one so it should be taken care of.

About a week or two later we went back to have it filled.

I am a little embarrassed to admit that it made me emotional seeing her tiny little body on a big chair with the mask on her face.  She was such a trooper and listened so well!  It took only about 15 minutes and Chloe far exceeded my low, low expectations of how it would go!

To treat my girl, we went to Wendy's and got a frosty.

The whole morning went so smoothly, and I was so proud of Chloe.  She proved to me that she is very capable of handling somewhat difficult things well!
