Colin's 1st birthday party had a fishing theme. It was so much fun to throw a BOY party! Bill and I returned from a crazy trip to Midland the day before the party (after our flight was cancelled and we drove through the night). It came together just fine even with the added chaos! We were so excited to celebrate our big one year old!
Colin started pointing (with his whole hand instead of his finger) the day of the party. He loved the balloons and "pointed" nonstop!
We were so fortunate to have so many friends and family come out to celebrate our birthday boy!
Next up was the smash cake! I was excited to see what Colin would think of it!
He went to town and even helped feed a few friends! He definitely wins the award for most smash cake consumed.
Overall, it was just a really great day. Each milestone like this reminds me of how blessed we are to have a happy, healthy one year old and such great family and friends. It's hard to believe that our last baby is already one! We love you sweet Colin and are SO thankful for you!
