The Almost Finshed Nursery

We have been putting the finishing touches on the nursery over the past few weeks, but we are still missing our darn chair. We ordered it about 8 weeks ago, and I think that it will still be a couple more weeks until we get it. There is a hole where it belongs but you can get the idea of what the nursery looks like!

The chair will go in this corner when it comes!

Since we loved the bookshelf that Kyle made for baby Luke, Billy and Kyle decided to make one for Avery's room. I think that it turned out really cute and am still amazed at their abilities! Now all we need is a baby to occupy the room!

***We found out some news at our last appointment. We have an induction scheduled for Tuesday, June 22. We were not at all expecting to be induced but Dr. Hampton said that we should consider it. On the report from the Ultrasound Specialist, she made a note that said she recommended not going past my due date. Dr. Hampton explained that labor can be stressful already on small babies and the longer that we wait, the greater chance for meconium in the amniotic fluid. This could just further stress her out. By delivering her on time, we may prevent any unnecessary stress. While I never thought that I wanted an induction, it's nice to have an end in sight. Bill and I will hopefully be able to get some sleep the night before (let's be honest, we probably won't sleep at all but it's a nice thought!). At least we will know that she will most likely not come in the middle of the night unless she decides to come sometime between now and then. It is exciting to think that she will be here in a matter of days!
