The Latest Ultrasound

Last time we had an ultrasound, we scheduled a follow-up appointment to make sure that she is growing properly. We went back this past Monday. It had been almost 2 1/2 weeks since the last one. Remember that last time I went, Avery was estimated to be weighing around 4 lbs 12 oz. Billy and I were both really nervous going in because the last experience wasn't what we were expecting. As of Monday, she is roughly 5 lbs. 13 oz. That was definitely an answer to prayers! If she keeps cooking until her due date she could be around 7 pounds. What did we get so worked up for? I have come to realize that modern technology, although great, can really cause a person to become anxious for nothing. If we had never had the original ultrasound, we would be blissfully unaware of all of this! Oh well, at least we got to see her a couple more times before she makes her big debut!
