Birthday parties galore!

Starting with Avery's birthday party, we had 4 straight weekends of 1st and 2nd birthday celebrations.  Avery loves going to parties so she couldn't have been more happy that a lot of her friends have birthdays right around hers!

The weekend after Ave's b-day was Garrett's party.  Dan and Linds decided to have it at the Timarron Splash Pad.  It is a great place for kids since it has the splash pad, a park, and a covered picnic area.

Splashing!  I don't know if I have ever met a child that likes splash pads more than Garrett.  This place was perfect for him!

About to dig in!

A few more shots before we left-

Ave had a great time at Garrett's birthday party.  Since they are only two days apart, I have loved watching them grow up together.  They are such sweet friends!

The following weekend, we had Landon's 1st birthday party.  It was the weekend before the 4th of July so Chels went with that theme.  It turned out so cute!

Opening presents

This is how Ave entertained herself while the presents were being opened.

Big boy Gibson

Landon became so shy when everyone sang to him.

It didn't take him long to catch on!

The Sunday after Landon's b-day party was Steph's 30 birthday celebration.  The following Sunday was Bea's 1st birthday party.  I can't believe we know so many people that were born in late June/early July.  Crazy!

I forgot to bring my camera to Bea's party.  I think Avery's favorite part was the pinata.  She had such a gently little swing that it would have taken years to cause any damage.  Jillian, Jackie's sister, ended up demolishing the thing and Ave was thrilled to get lots of candy.  Bea has grown up so quickly and unfortunately we won't be seeing her for a while since they are moving to Germany soon!

Since she has been to so many parties lately, Avery now thinks that she can sing Happy Birthday at any time and a cupcake will magically appear.  She can't comprehend that we don't have cupcakes lying around at all times. Poor girl, I would like that too.

Now that all the birthdays are over, it is officially wedding time! The festivities start tomorrow, and I could not be more excited!
