To kick off Kelly and Andrew's wedding weekend, the bridal party got pedicures. It is so rare these days to get a pedicure so I was super excited to get out and have some relaxing time with the girls.

While we were drying our nails, I looked down at my mom's feet and saw this...
 |
| She must have had a lot on her mind while getting ready that morning :) |
That afternoon, we all met up at Ashton Gardens to rehearse. Avery had been SO excited about being a flower girl. We did lots of practicing with her flowers at home, and she loved every minute.
 |
| Before the rehearsal technically started, Grammy and Ave practiced walking down the aisle. |
About 5 minutes after this picture was taken, things took a drastic turn downhill. Ave was not feelin' it. The waterworks began and she only wanted to be held by me.
 |
| The coordinator first placed us in our spots, and Ave was not happy that I was up at the front without her. |
Bill eventually had to spend the remainder of the rehearsal outside while she continued to cry and cry. I have no idea what was up with her but it made me extremely nervous for the following day. Two year olds are just so unpredictable. There is literally no way of knowing how anything will go!

| Rehearsing! |
The rehearsal dinner was held at Shirley Acres in a room that I had never been in during my Junior Guild days. It was the perfect size and even had a little stage area. This was just the ticket to bring Ave out of her funk. Once she got on there, she started dancing and became a completely different child. She couldn't have been happier for the rest of the night...thank goodness!
There was a slideshow playing throughout the dinner with pictures of Andrew and Kelly throughout their childhood. I couldn't help but tear up a bit while watching them. There were lots of Kel taken in the old house which brought back a ton of memories.

| The happy couple- I still can't believe they are now married! |
They served barbecue for dinner, and it was so good!

After Ave was done eating, she went onto the stage area and proceeded to play with a little girl on Andrew's side of the family for a good 20 minutes. She plays with kids all the time but there was something so sweet about watching the two of them.
 |
| I would love to know what they were saying |
After dinner, the toasts were given and Kelly passed out all the gifts including the neatest little art easel for Ave.

 |
| This kept her happy for the remainder of the night. Kelly always finds the best gifts for Ave! |
 |
| Sophia wanted in on the action too! |
I think it really hit me that night that Kelly was actually getting married. Although the rehearsal was a little stressful, the dinner was so much fun, and I was really excited for the wedding the following day!
