Bowling

A few weeks ago, Bill went bowling with his group from work as some sort of team building thing.  He told Avery about it, and from that point on she asked to go bowling constantly.  So, we decided to give it a shot.  Bill and I both took bowling in college but haven't gone in years.  We tend to get a tad bit competitive but that just makes it more fun!

We went to Main Event on President's Day since Bill had off from work.

Granny Style- this ended in multiple fouls for going over the line.  Even though she had no clue what that meant, it broke my heart a little to see a big F as her score even though she knocked down some pins.

We tried this little contraption too but I really struggled to make it go straight.

I'm pretty sure over half the pins were still up but she was just so thrilled to knock any down.

If Ave knocked down any pins, it was a success.  She would run back to me and yell, "I did it!" If she didn't knock any down, this horrible look of defeat would be all over her face until I would cheer anyway.  Then she would yell, "I did it" still.  Love her.

Not my finest game, but in my defense I was more focused on Ave.  I'll just keep telling myself that.

Love this face!

The shiny lights from the arcade eventually won her over before our hour was complete.  I tried to restrain my germaphobic tendancies long enough to let her pretend to play lots of games, and then our day of bowling was done.  It was a fun day had by all!
