Burrough's Park stocked one of their big ponds a few weeks ago. Bill loves to fish and thought it would be fun to take Avery for the first time. He came home one day with a Toy Story fishing pole that she instantly fell in love with. It has a little plastic fish on the end of the line, and Ave could play with that thing for hours with or without a body of water nearby!
One Sunday, Bill decided to take Ave to the park to try it out for real. Bill and Karl had been up there for a couple hours and I dropped Ave off when she woke up from her nap. They caught a fish right before we got there and left it on the line. Ave was able to reel the little thing in and was absolutely thrilled!

Bill came home that night and told me that if we never had a boy it would be okay. He said Avery could just do everything that a boy would do. She still talks about fishing to this day and loved the time that she spent with her Daddy.
