One of Bill's favorite things in life is crawfish season. I do not like crawfish at all but crawfish time means that summer is coming, and I do enjoy getting together with friends. Bill and our group of friends switch off hosting, and we decided to have one a couple of weekends ago.
I remember several years ago when I would have to constantly hold Ave the whole time. My, how things have changed. She was playing pretty much the whole time and had a blast. It was so nice and relaxing just watching the kids play. I feel like I need to really soak up these moments because I realize that will all change in a few months!

| I was holding baby Lily, and Ave very nonchalantly said, "Can I have her for a second." Ash bravely allowed Avery to hold her. I can't tell you how much this made her day. She had never held a baby before, and I could tell that she felt so very proud. |

The guys stayed over to play 42 or watch a basketball game or something. Not sure. Bill lives for days like this. I think we all had a good time!
