Chloe's due date is rapidly approaching. We are 3 days away, and I realized that I never put any pictures of her nursery up. Decorating this room has been way easier than the first time since I already had the bedding, furniture, etc. We wanted to add new touches to make it a little different than Avery's nursery. Since we were decorating a new room with bigger windows and more wall space, it naturally looks a lot different (to me at least!)
I love the way it turned out and can't wait to be rocking my girl in it! On a random note- one day while we were in the process of working on the nursery, Avery went into Chloe's room with her shopping cart and told me that she wanted to accessorize her room. Where she got this idea- who knows! I guess she was planning on taking some "accessories" out of Chloe's room to accomplish this. We had to have a little lesson right then about not taking Chloe's things without asking. I have a feeling that this will be the first of many!
Chloe is obviously in no hurry to make her appearance into this world. I think it made it 10 times worse to be told at 36 weeks that I was 4 cm and would probably have her early. I have been trying to keep the house relatively clean, keep the pantry and fridge stocked, and stay up to date with the laundry for what seems like forever! I guess I should be doing this on a weekly basis anyway but you know how it goes :). Last week, Dr. Hampton said I was 5 cm and again stated that she would be shocked if I made it to my next appointment but here I am. No Chloe and my appointment is tomorrow! I am so ready to meet my girl but am perfectly fine with her staying put until she is ready. I'm just getting a good lesson on patience! I keep telling myself that I am able to get good sleep and relaxation now that will soon be gone. I should definitely take advantage of this time but it's hard! Chloe girl- we are ready to meet you and can't wait to see your sweet face! Come out soon!
