Chloe's 1st Week Home

Chloe's first week flew by.  It was so nice to have Bill home for a little while and spend precious time as a family of four.  I remember the first week that Avery was home being a little stressful and very sleep deprived.  Chloe's was the opposite.  I think I was way more laid back and really enjoyed every minute with my new girl.  Bill and I switched off taking lots of naps also so neither of us felt like a zombie during the day.  I've been trying to soak up every minute of this newborn phase while I've got it.  I know that it flies by, and I don't want to miss a minute!  Here are some pictures from our first week-

Heading home from the hospital!

Great Grandma Gloria and Gram Z came over to visit

Taking good care of her Chloe doll

1st bath- 4 days old.  The hospital left the clip on her umbilical cord so it fell off really quickly.

I tried to attempt the first bath by myself and Ave while Bill was mowing the grass.  It was a little bit of a disaster- Ave couldn't see Chloe on the counter so I moved her to the bathtub.  Avery wanted to bathe her by herself which would obviously not work.  The end result was a bit of a tantrum but we got through it!  Oh, the special times!

Avery loves to check in on her sis.

We love our Chloe girl so much already!  It's hard to believe that she's only been ours for a short time!
