2 Weeks

Chloe's second week at home flew by just as fast as the first.  She is as sweet as can be, and we are so happy to have her here with us! 

 

Bill went back to work for a couple days during the second week, and my mom thankfully came over to help out.  It was so amazing having her take Avery to and from school, go grocery shopping for us, entertain Ave, etc. 

 

We also got newborn pictures taken when Chloe was exactly a week old.  They turned out amazing, and I just love them!  Here are some way less professional shots that I took throughout the week-

I didn't know what to expect from Avery once Chloe came home. I knew that she was excited to have a sister but suspected that maybe she would get jealous of the time that I spent with Chloe. I was very happily surprised by her behavior. She absolutely loves Chloe and has been so good with her. With the exception of wanting to get 1 inch from her face to talk to her, she has handled the transition so well! She has allowed Bill to take over some of the normal routine that usually I do with her which has been such a huge help. She also seems genuinely happier lately. I'm so thankful that this is the case.
