The Rodeo

This year has been the wettest one we've had in a while.  It rained almost every weekend throughout the Rodeo season so I was worried that we weren't going to make it this year.  Fortunately, one Friday turned out decent so we went on a whim.  I'm so glad we did.  Chloe was old enough to participate much more this year!

Train ride in- always one of Ave's favorite parts!

Chloe walked in like she owned the place.
Once inside, we checked out some animals.

I loved watching the girls go through the little farm town exhibit.

Last year, we got sunflower seeds at the rodeo and they grew into huge beautiful flowers.  This year, both girls got some seeds.

Next up was looking at the bees before heading out for lunch.

Finally, before we left, we got some dessert.  The girls shared a snowcone while Bill and I shared fried cookie dough.

The rodeo is always a fun family outing, and I'm so glad the rain didn't keep us away this year!  Little did we know that rain would be a recurring theme throughout our Spring.
