Colin is 6 months old!

Colin has now been a part of this family for half a year!  Time has absolutely flown by.  Even though I know this post will not get finished today (since I need to add pictures) I decided to type all about him right now so I don't miss anything.

Eating- We continued working on solids this month.  He is pretty much a fan of everything!  He's had oatmeal, squash, bananas, apples, peas, pears, broken up pieces of puffs, and last night he tried a mum mum.  He is a champion eater.  Now, if only he would take a bottle.  A couple of nights ago, I fed him and then Bill put him to sleep so that I could go out to dinner before bedtime.  He did so well.

Sleeping- Colin takes two naps typically around 10 am and 2:30 pm when we are home.  On school days, his napping schedule gets way off.  He goes with the flow and gets little naps in here and there.  He is the most flexible child, and I'm so thankful for that.  I feel so guilty that he gets taken around all day long to take and pick up his sisters but he doesn't seem to mind at all.  He's such a little love.  Nights have been about the same- wake to eat anywhere from 2:30am (way too early) to 6am.

On two occasions this month, he has fallen asleep and slept on the floor of the living room for a little snooze before picking up sister.  I had to take pictures of them because I still am in shock that I have such an easy going child!

Clothes- He is wearing size 9 months clothing and size 4 diapers

Colin has become so much fun.  He is rolling all around now.  Before he would get stuck on his tummy but now he can get anywhere by rolling.  He is getting increasingly more mobile, and I know that crawling is not too far off!  Life is about to get a little harder! He is also much more vocal than before.  He makes really loud shrieking noises and is so proud of himself.  He's also said something that resembled mamama but hasn't repeated it.

This is Colin's new favorite thing- he'll push the side of his play mat down to create this scene :)

Colin has had a little flat spot on the back of his head from really early on.  I'm not sure whether its from being in his car seat, sleeping on his back, playing on his play mat, etc.  We are going back to Dr. N this month to see if he'll need to get a helmet fitted to correct this.  I'm hoping he won't need it but want to do whatever is in Colin's best interest, of course.

Some names that he is called- C-man, Buddy boy (Chloe), Col, Col man, buddy, Bubba (which Grammy is not a fan of :), and Bubby.

Here are some pictures from this month-

We met Bill's Nana and Papa at Fuddruckers in College Station one day.

Chloe was VERY proud of her work!

Working on sitting

It is someone's "birthday" every day in our house.  It was Bubby's this day!

Happy 6 months Colin!
