Disneyworld Day 3

On day 3, we woke up and headed to the Contemporary Resort for a breakfast at Chef Mickey's.  It was a buffet and the food was good but the best part was the character meet and greets.  Each character came around to the table to sign autographs and take pictures.

Everyone was so excited to see Mickey first!

My favorite part was that the characters had to put the autograph book up to their eyes to sign them :).

For whatever reason, when Pluto came around Chloe started getting scared.  She liked them from afar but not up close.

At one point, they played a song and everyone waved their napkins.  The girls loved this!

My happy boy!

After breakfast, we got on the monorail going to Magic Kingdom.  We were looking forward to a full day there.

One of the most magical parts for me was the Christmas decorations and music on Main Street.  It didn't get any better than that.  Best time of year hands down.

Chloe ended up not being a big fan of her Minnie ears so they became mine for the day.

Dumbo!

This girl could not take a picture with her eyes open (in a slightly dark room) to save her life!  This will have to do.

One of the girls' favorite rides was It's a Small World.  So mild, so calm, so wonderful.

Chloe got her dance on in the street.  Love her and her complete lack of inhibitions.

I was so proud of the girls for wanting to go on the Haunted Mansion ride.  Bill had to make up silly stories for the ghosts when they got a little too real on the ride though.  By the end I was laughing hysterically at his attempts to keep nightmares away.

Winnie the Pooh!

They did the lighting of the castle that night.  It was so peaceful and pretty!

On a sidenote, I took Colin to the nursing mothers room near Main Street before the lighting of the castle.  Let me just say that it was super creepy.  There were really old pictures of children hanging on the wall and old decor everywhere.  The nursing room was a small room with 5 recliners.  There were some very ... interesting people in there, and I was just fascinated by what was going on around me.  I definitely did not go to another nursing mothers room the remainder of the trip.

Day 3 was a wrap, and Magic Kingdom was just that...Magical!
