Colin is 11 months!

Colin is 11 months old!  Lots has changed over the course of the past month.

First off, he is finally starting to sleep a little better!  Hallelujah!!! I really didn't think this day would EVER come!  I started feeding him a little more in the evenings, and he started to sleep until anywhere from 5:30-7am for his early morning feeding.  Those days when he slept straight from 8pm until 6:30am, I felt like a million bucks.  Nothing better than getting straight sleep!  Only took buddy boy 11 months!  I'll forgive him though since he's so darn cute.

Other big victories/ discoveries this month-
-His third tooth started making it's way through on top also.  He is going to look so cute with his top teethies in place!
-He's doing a little better with bottles.  And by a little better, I mean that sometimes he will take 2 ounces.  Better but still a ways to go my boy.
-He has gotten more and more vocal.  He started saying uh-oh and apple as well as mama and dada.  I adore his little voice and love to hear him start saying words!
-My big boy also loves stairs.  If the baby gate is open, he will crawl his little body over as fast as he can to start scaling those suckers.  He also has started walking while holding on to furniture.  Something about him being upright makes him look so big and old.

Colin also took his first roadtrip to Midland!  We went over Spring Break and it was definitely an adventure.  He did pretty well until the drive home.  We've pushed him much more than we ever did the girls.  I guess we will all have to get used to that drive since there will be a lot more where that came from in our future!

Colin has been eating decently but has his favorites for sure.  He loves any and all fruit and dislikes most all meets except ground beef with pasta sauce and hot dogs.  He doesn't like cheese but loves cheerios, most grains (except pasta), and yogurt.  I still give him lots of fruit and veggie pouches to ensure that he is getting what he needs.  I'm a little concerned that he will love sweets like his mama.  At his 1 year pictures, he went to town on his cake!  He loved the frosting and would have continued eating it if we hadn't taken it away from him.  Boy after my own heart.

We adore our baby boy and are in a bit of denial over the fact that he is going to be 1 in one short month!
