This Father's Day was the Sunday after Avery's birthday party so we decided to have a low key day. Ave and I made breakfast for Bill and then we all headed to church. After church, we went to Aviator's Grill for some lunch. We hadn't gone in a long time and thought that Ave would enjoy all the planes. We were not mistaken. She immediately ran to the windows and started talking a mile a minute about the airplanes.

After a tasty lunch, we went outside to the pond to feed the ducks.

Daddy & Avery pic- she may or may not have had some bread in her mouth at the time
After lunch, we had a relaxing afternoon and dinner at home. Avery was more than excited to play with all of her new toys.

She spent about 15 minutes pressing the button that makes the horse sing/ moves his mouth. She was trying so hard to figure out how it worked. We may have a future engineer on our hands!

I think this picture pretty much sums up their relationship :).
Father's Day ended up being just what we needed after a crazy weekend. I am so thankful for the type of father that Bill is with Avery. He loves her so much, and I love seeing them interact together. We couldn't ask for a better daddy!
