Although it is not officially summer yet, I feel like it has been for several weeks. We've already begun doing lots of swimming and summery activities. Over Memorial Day weekend, the Talkingtons had a crawfish boil. They had a pool out for the kids to swim in, and Avery had a great time. Any time her friends are gathered in one place, that girl is happy!

This past week, we had VBS at Faithbridge. I volunteered in the nursery and Ave spent the time in her class. They had lots of activities for the kids that were too little to be in the big VBS but were old enough to understand what was going on. I ran to the restroom one day and found Avery's class in the hallway playing with shaving cream. She talked about shaving cream the entire day afterwards. It was exhausting but we both had a lot of fun.

Even though it gets so hot during the summer months, I love being able to go to the pool, play outside, etc. I'm so glad it's almost here!
